How it works

 

Giftcardrescue.com allows you to sell your gift card for cash, exchange your gift card for another card, or buy gift cards at attractive discounts. Here is how it all works:

  

Exchange your gift card for another card

 

1. Provide Card Details

 

Log into your account by clicking on “My Account” located at the top right corner of the page (If you have not yet registered, click on the link provided on the ‘my account’ page to register). Next, click on “Exchange Gift Card” and provide the information requested regarding the gift card you would like to exchange.

 

The “Redemption Value” section will show you how much we will buy your card for. We typically buy gift cards for between 60% - 80% of the card value depending on the popularity of the gift card. For our complete price list, click here.

 

Next, you now have available the amount indicated as the “redemption value” of your card to spend on a brand new gift card (this makes re-gifting of gift cards easy and more exciting). You will have the opportunity to pick a gift card of your preference from our list of most popular gift cards.

 

2. Ship Gift Card to GiftCardRescue

 

After you have selected the gift card of your preference, you will be given an address to mail your gift card to us. We suggest that you mail the gift card via first class mail or better so that we can receive your card promptly and mail your exchange card faster. When shipping your gift card to us, be sure to include the reference number provided at checkout. This will help us pull up your information.

 

3. Receive your exchange card

 

Once we receive your gift card and verify the value, we will mail you the brand new gift card you selected within 48 hours (equal to the redemption value). It’s that simple! The shipping charge is on us.

 

Sell your gift card for cash

Next, click on “Sell Gift Card for Cash” and provide the information requested regarding the gift card you would like to sell for cash.

2. Ship Gift Card to GiftCardRescue

 

After you provide the gift card details, you will be given an address to mail your gift card to us. When shipping your gift card to us, be sure to include the reference number provided at checkout. This will help us pull up your information.

 

3. Get your cash via PayPal

 

Once we receive your gift card and verify the value, we will send you payment via PayPal within 48 hours. It’s that simple!

 

Don’t have a PayPal account? No problem. We can still send your money to PayPal using the email address you provide at registration. All you need to do to retrieve your money is to set up an account with PayPal (setting up a PayPal account is free).

 

Buy discounted gift cards

 

1. Select Gift Card

Log into your account by clicking on “My Account” located at the top right corner of the page (If you have not yet registered, click on the link provided on the ‘my account’ page to register). Next, click on “Buy Gift Card”. You can search for the perfect gift card by Merchant Name and/or Price.

 

2. Checkout via PayPal or Google Checkout

 

Once you find the gift card you will like to purchase, click on “Buy Now” and follow the checkout instructions. Giftcardrescue.com only accepts payments via PayPal or Google Checkout. Don’t have a PayPal or Google Checkout account? No problem. Signing up for a PayPal or Google Checkout Account is free and easy. Click on PayPal or Google Checkout and you will find instructions on how to create a new account. You can also click here to create a PayPal account or here to create a Google Checkout Account.

 

3.  Receive Gift Card

 

Once payment for your purchase is received, we will mail you your gift card within 48 hours via USPS first class mail. The shipping charge is on us. If you do not receive your gift card within 7 business days after payment, contact us immediately.
