How it Works

Giftcardrescue.com allows you to sell your gift card for cash, exchange your gift card for another card, or buy discounted gift cards. Here’s how:

Sell your gift card for cash or Exchange

Step 1: Provide Card Details

Log into your account by clicking on “Login” located at the top left corner of the page (If you have not yet registered, click on the “Sign-up” link at the top left corner to register). Next, click on “Sell for Cash or Exchange” and provide the information requested regarding the gift card you would like to sell or exchange.

On the next page, we will tell you how much we will buy your card for. We typically buy gift cards for between 60% – 80% of the card value depending on the popularity of the gift card. Select the “Sell for Cash” or “Exchange” option and follow the instructions to complete your transaction.

Step 2: Ship Gift Card to GiftCardRescue

You will be given an address to mail your gift card to us. We suggest that you mail the gift card via first class mail with tracking or better. When shipping your gift card to us, be sure to include the reference number provided at checkout. This will help us pull up your information.

Step 3: Receive your cash or exchange card in the mail

Once we receive your gift card and verify the value, we will send you the check or exchange card within 24 hours. You will receive your check or card in the mail via USPS first class mail within 5 business days.

Buy discounted gift cards

Step 1: Select Gift Card

Log into your account by clicking on “Login” located at the top left corner of the page (If you have not yet registered, click on the “Sign-up” link at the top left corner to register). Next, click on “Buy at Discount”. You can search for the perfect gift card by Merchant Name or browse our entire inventory of gift cards.

Step 2: Checkout

Once you find the gift card you will like to purchase, click on “Buy” and follow the checkout instructions. Giftcardrescue.com only accepts payments via credit or debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover). You will get an order summary at the end of the checkout process detailing your completed transaction.

Step 3: Receive Gift Card

Once payment for your purchase is received, we will mail you your gift card within 48 hours via USPS first class mail. The shipping charge is on us. If you do not receive your gift card within 7 business days after payment, contact us immediately.
