GiftCardRescue.com, LLC (“GiftCardRescue.com”) will conduct the GiftCardRescue.com Newsletter Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) substantially as described in these Rules. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes the full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Rules. All decisions of GiftCardRescue.com are final and absolute and not subject to inquiry or appeal.

Eligibility

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. NO PURCHASE WILL IMPROVE A PARTICIPANT’S CHANCES OF WINNING.

Each Eligible Participant will be entered into the contest once. An “Eligible Participant” is a person that meets all of the following requirements:

1. At any time during the contest start date to September 30, 2013
   1. One eligible participant = one email subscription to our e-newsletter.
   2. Eligible participant means a confirmed subscriber. When signing up for the newsletter each email address receives a confirmation email. Users who confirm, are considered eligible participants.
2. The participant is a legal resident of the United States of America, and must actually reside in the United States during the Contest Period.
3. The participant is at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the following individuals shall not be Eligible Participants:

1. Employees of GiftCardRescue.com or its affiliates, and members of such employees’ immediate families.

The term “immediate family” shall include spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children, and grandchildren, whether as in-laws, by current or past marriage, remarriage, adoption, and any other person residing in the same household whether or not related.

All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

How to Enter

Every person that meets the requirements to be an Eligible Participant shall be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes.

Prize

One (1) $500 Visa Gift Card will be awarded.

Selection of Prize Winner

One winner will be randomly selected from the list of email newsletter subscribers.

Winner will be notified by email regarding when, how, and where the prize may be claimed. Winner may be required to sign and submit an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability.

Prizes may not be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winners.

Prizes returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within 14 days of delivery of notification will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner at GiftCardRescue.com’s discretion.

Taxes

All taxes on prize, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of winner. GiftCardRescue.com may report the value of the prize for tax purposes as required by law.

Publicity Release

By accepting a prize, the winner grants GiftCardRescue.com the right to use the contestant’s name, address (city and state only), and other non-confidential information of the winner, without prior notice or royalty or compensation for editorial, promotional, or any other lawful purpose any in any media now known or herinafter devised. Such right shall be irrevocable and perpetual. For example, GiftCardRescue.com may list the names of winners on its website and marketing materials.

Disclaimer, Indemnity; No Warranty

The winner will be determined by GiftCardRescue.com, LLC, whose decisions and interpretation of these rules are final in all matters relating to this contest. The winner, by acceptance of their prize, agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless GiftCardRescue.com, LLC, and each of their respective employees, representatives, agents, contractors, assigns, sponsors, advertisers, officers, directors, shareholders and attorneys from any and all liability, loss, damage, cost, claim or expense related to any allegation regarding the award of, the receipt of, or the use of prizes.

The winner acknowledges that GiftCardRescue.com, LLC, has neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, or regarding the use, value or enjoyment of any prize, including, without limitation, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose.

GiftCardRescue.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspect this contest should a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized human intervention or other cause beyond Sponsors’ control inhibit or corrupt the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the contest, and Sponsors may disqualify any person who engages in or attempts any such activity. This contest may be terminated at any point without prior notification. Rules shall be governed and enforced pursuant to Maryland law, excluding choice of law provisions.
